Extract structured geometry from three document sets, line up the same physical dimension across all of them, classify why the numbers disagree, and return a specific recommended resolution — evaluated against the manufacturer's published tolerances and the editions the authority having jurisdiction actually enforces.

Stage 0 — Project, manufacturer and jurisdiction

Tolerance thresholds are pulled from the selected manufacturer's published bands and interpreted under the enforced code edition — a discrepancy that is critical under a 2025 adoption can be a non-issue under the 2016 edition a city still enforces.

  • No manufacturer selected — generic ASME A17.1-derived tolerance bands are in use.
  • • Enforced: ASME A17.1-2019 · IBC 2021 · ICC A117.1-2017 · ASCE 7-16

Stage 1 — Extraction

Each document type gets its own fixed schema. Vision-based reading of scanned sheets, dimension strings and leader lines; every value normalized to decimal inches before any comparison runs.
